I was quite reluctant to give him this personal information, so I told him I would do it by myself. He insisted a lot for me to give him my credit card number, saying that it was very difficult to install and I would need his help. This guy mentioned McAffee and he wanted me to buy it (I was still in the trial period). I got a guy in India who took control of my computer : not only he did not fix the camera problem but now the microphone doesn't work on my 2x detachable. Don't know if it was a temporary problem for them or what they did, but hopefully it will continue working.Īs you are a HP employee, I want to tell you that I called HP tech support on Wednesday morning about this problem on my brand new HP2x Detachable. I did not dare to uninstall the Cyberlink Webcam but I had also sent them a message and now, for some reason, my webcam seems to work again on Skype.
